Carols tonight will be in the hall

09 Dec 2019

Due to the air quality in Canberra today and following advice from ACT Health and Catholic Education, the carols will be held in the school hall tonight.

Due to after school care using the hall please do not arrive before 5:30pm. The BBQ will be available for food and drink purchases.

Please do not bring chairs as you will be able to use chairs in the hall. 

Looking forward to seeing you tonight to farewell our fabulous Mrs Jones and share in some Christmas spirit as a school community.

Library book returns

We have come to the end of 2019 and a library stocktake is needed. Please return all library books by Monday 9th December. There will be information sent home today for any children that have some books to find.

A gift from Mrs Jones

Our beautiful Mrs Jones would like to give a gift to all the wonderful students of Good Shepherd School. Next Monday 9th of December will be a uniform free day for the children. Mrs Jones has also organised a special surprise for this day.

If you have clothing which is yellow and black or Richmond Tiger supporters gear please wear this to school on Monday otherwise suitable clothing.

Book Club orders Issue 8

Creativity exploration K-6

Over the next 5 weeks students across the school will be working on a 'creativity' focus in their exploration unit of inquiry. The 'creativity' focus is the final exploration for 2019.

Exploration 5 What to learn 1.pdf

Over the course of the year students have completed explorations on the following key concepts - identity, sustainability, change and systems. During 2020 we will be continuing these explorations across the school to support inquiry learning at Good Shepherd.
