COVID update

Dear Community,

COVID-19 exposure at Holy Spirit Church, Amaroo

As detailed yesterday, ACT Health has confirmed a COVID-19 case attended Holy Spirit Parish Church while unknowingly infectious during the First Eucharist ceremony on:

  • Friday 19 November from 6.00 pm – 7.17 pm.

ACT Health has completed its risk assessment in relation to this.

All affected staff, parents and students who have been identified as close contacts from exposure in the church have been contacted directly by ACT Health. If you have been contacted, please follow the advice provided to you by ACT Health in relation to quarantine and testing requirements.

If you and your family attended the First Eucharist ceremony and did not sign in using the Check In CBR app you will need to contact ACT Health directly on 6207 7244 to let them know about your attendance at the ceremony. You will need to follow all advice provided to you by ACT Health.

If you, or your child, have not been contacted as you did not attend the ceremony, you do not need to stay at home and you can undertake your usual activities.
