Dear parents and carers,
Please find below the staff list for 2025. There are still positions to be filled and we are actively recruiting. The class groupings continue to be processed and students will know shortly about their teachers for next year. All requests for consideration in 2025 have been factored into the planning as per the advertised process. It is too late to request anything further in this space for 2025.
End of term observations
As the term draws to a close we are noticing students are getting tired. This can translate with students into frustration, poor choices, social aggression, anxiety and disengagement. If your child is finding it challenging to be at school every day we want to support them to end the year well. This may mean a rest day is called for. We would support parents' choice to enact a rest day for your child should you feel it will support them to attend school positively until the end of term.
Advent
As we prepare for the birth of Jesus we enter into a solemn time of waiting, reflection and hope as we prepare for the birth of Jesus. We are actively working on imbuing Truth, beauty and goodness into our school as we wrap up the year.

Looking forward to seeing everyone wearing their crazy, colourful, creative, fun, sensational socks with your school uniform tomorrow!
Please remember your gold coin donations to support those in need.
Thank you for your generosity and for the difference you are making to other Australians.
It’s amazing to see so many class hampers already brimming with donated grocery items! Thank you for your support and generosity.
If you haven't already, please send in the nominated grocery item recorded on the slip of paper your child brought home last week.
Thank you for continuing to be ‘the Heart of God in Amaroo!’
Let us reflect upon the words from last Sunday’s Mass bulletin and pray together:
God’s challenge to us is: Tell the truth. Admit who you are, and whom you serve. Confess your sins. Put away the life of pretence, and walk into the light of the reign of God. “Everyone who cares for the truth, who has any feeling for the truth, recognises my voice.”
Dear Lord God of timeless circles of forever, we celebrate the Feast of Christ the King and the Reign of Christ: Son of Mary, sovereign of eternity, servant leader, witness of truth, and governor of our lives. Help us renew our commitment to be disciples and leaders. Help us live with the example and ministry of this same Christ in whose name we both worship and pray. Amen.

Embrace change together as we head toward the end of the year and have a new one on the horizon
Hello parents and carers
Let’s take a moment to talk about how we can help our kids embrace change with a positive outlook. Change can be challenging—it often means leaving behind what we know and stepping into the unknown. But since change is a constant part of life, learning to welcome it can really empower us!
Instead of seeing change as something to fear or resist, let’s encourage our children to view it as an exciting opportunity. By shifting our perspective from “I have to” to “I get to,” we can highlight the positive aspects of change and focus on the new possibilities it brings.
Every change marks the beginning of something fresh and exciting! By choosing to adopt a positive attitude, we not only help ourselves but also model resilience for our kids. Together, we can make change an adventure, empowering our children to shape their experiences and look forward to the future with enthusiasm.
Let’s embrace this journey together!
