Navy blue legionnaire style or broad brim hats are a compulsory part of the uniform. All students are required to wear a hat for all outdoor activities, including sport, outdoor play and excursions. In line with our SumSmart policy, we insist on NO SCHOOL HAT NO PLAY. Following the recent advice of the ACT Cancer Council the children may leave their hats off during Recess and Lunch during the months of June and July. The children will be given a choice and will have an option of wearing a beanie and the normal school hat if they so choose. For more informationgo to www.actcancer.org
All children in Kindergarten to Year 2 must have a chair bag and a home reading bag. All children carry a navy blue school bag printed with the school logo.
A student’s hair should be cut off their face and, if longer than shoulder length, it must be tied back in an appropriate school coloured band. Hair should also be of natural colour and extreme haircuts are not encouraged.
